Can a laser light machine affect your eyesight?

I was doing some mali and adderalls, alot of it, with a few friends and I thought that, that cased my eye sight to see black dots and what not.. But im thinken also when I was there he had some laser light machine with fog, like (professional dj stuff) and I was looking directly into it for about 5mins maybe more you know how time goe sby fast, I dunno.. You think that may of messedup something up permanelty or temp?
