Im getting a uromastyx i have a question..?

Mali uros can get as big as 17inches I have 2 males at this size and this is absolutely huge for this species. There was a strain of "giant malis" from a different locality in their home range imported in the 90s which reached sizes of 17 to 18 inches. This only happened once as far as I've heard and the rest of the imports were "normal" until 2009 when all importing from Mali stopped. The most common size is around 13 to 14 inches and they grow slow. They are heavier bodied then beardeds and are completely vegetarian so don't gotta worry about crickets and worms and all that. Tons of heat and uv and lots of greens and you'll have a healthy uro for a long time.
