My horse wont go over poles?

my 15'3'' horse malibu (mali) will not go over poles! the thing is though, she's fine going over jumps but when their is poles layed out on the ground and i take her towards them in walk, trot or canter she just wont go over them! is their any schooling techniques i could try to encourage her to go go over them?
